Biography

Producer, Songwriter, Arranger, and Artists are all incredible talents. Combine them into one human being, and you get a humble yet extraordinary talent known simply as Shamora.

Shamora’s work in the music industry has helped sell millions. She has written and produced for artists such as: J. Lo, Monica, Blu Cantrell, and Angie Stone just to name a few; and she has arranged for Elton John and Mary J. Blige. She was also nominated for a Dove Award for her work on gospel group Virtue’s album “Free”.

With a songwriting and production career that was continuing to flourish, Shamora decided to embark on another journey. Recently Shamora released two albums entitled “Substance Abuse” and “Substance Abuse… the Altar”, which were released through her own record label, Striker Records. “Substance Abuse” has become an underground movement, and is sure to be global in no time.

Shamora has opened for Frankie Beverly and Maze, Charlie Wilson, El DeBarge, Erykah Badu, and many more. She also offers inspiration to those who are often forgotten in society, by volunteering her voice to men at the Atlanta Federal Prison, women and children at various domestic violence shelters in metro Atlanta and with the childhood cancer support group “Jay’s Hope”. Through “Substance Abuse”, Shamora has been able to reach those who are hurt, lost, and broken. Listeners are encouraged, and hope is restored, and the healing process begins!
